  1. Watch the video Balance Sheet (Google Sheets)   (CC).

  2. Create a Google Sheets spreadsheet similar to the document developed in the video and shown below. Formulas must be created for those cells highlighted in red circles. In particular, formulas must be created for: Total Monetary Assets, Total Tangible Assets, Total Short-Term Liabilities, Total Long-Term Liabilities, Total Assets, Total Liabilities, and Net Worth. Insert your name somewhere in the document. Rename this sheet "Assignment 2A".



  3. Create a new tab in the Google Sheet document created in the previous step. Rename this sheet "Assignment 2B". Create the spreadsheet shown below. (Data). Formulas must be created for those cells highlighted in the red circle. In particular, formulas must be created for: Difference (Budgeted - Actual), Cumulative Total (Sum of Actual Spending), Minimum, Maximum, and Amounts >= $500.



  4. Explore the tutorial What can you do with Sheets? - Google Support. Convince the instructor that you understand the key concepts in this tutorial by including one or more of the following: a summary of the tutorial, modified formulas similar to those covered in the tutorial, details, examples, charts, tips you learned, etc. In particular, discuss the sharing and collaboration of Google Sheets with team members. Add this information (in a separate tab) to the document created in the previous step.

  5. Save your work as "assignment2". Share this document with your instructor: rosener@nsuok.edu.
