Exam #4 (Final Exam)

  (40 points)

The Final Exam consists of two parts:
Part A) Completing one of two project options
Part B) Completing a final assessment.

Part A: (20 points)
For Part A of the Final Exam, complete ONE of the following two options.

Option 1: Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation

  1. Create a Google Slides OR a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation that:
    • Includes at least 7 slides.
    • Includes at least one screen capture (See Assignment 23).
    • Includes at least one animation using a motion path (See Assignment 24).
    • Includes at least one basic animation (e.g., entrance, emphasis, or exit). For example, points "Fly-in" from the top-left. (See Assignment 25).
    • Includes at least one animated chart (See Assignment 26).
    • Includes at least one button, which takes you from the last slide to the first slide (See Assignments 27 or 28).
    • Incorporates audio or music.
Recommendation: Complete Assignments 23-28 before starting this option.

The content of your presentation can focus on any subject. If you want, you can create a presentation that focuses on NSU. Other topics could include family, friends, sports, a hobby, or another topic that interests you. If you do not have your own music, you can download a royalty-free song from the Google Audio Library.

2. Include your name somewhere in your presentation.

3. Save your work as "Exam4". If using Google Slides, share this document with your instructor: rosener@nsuok.edu

4. Submit Your Work.   Help

Option 2: Explore a Business or Technology Tool

Identify a software application or technology tool that you believe is useful in business or technology. Select a tool that allows you to learn or demonstrate something beyond what we have already covered in class.

Possible examples include:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro — video editing and production.
  • SketchUp Pro — 3D modeling and design.
  • Nano Banana / API development — experimenting with artificial intelligence, image generation, or creating an application that uses an API.
  • Pro Tools — professional audio recording, editing, and production.
  • Another software or technology tool that interests you and has an application in business or technology.

Learn the basic features of your selected tool and create something using it. Your project should demonstrate that you spent time exploring and learning the software rather than simply describing what it does.

Include your name with your work and provide enough information, screen captures, files, or other documentation for your instructor to see what you created and how you used the tool.

Save your work using the filename "Exam4", when possible, and submit your completed project.   Help

Note: If your Final Exam exceeds the file size limit of your website, simply e-mail your work to: rosener@nsuok.edu
